At minimalisma, we were immediately taken away by the handsomeness of James, by Sofie's pictures of him and by the kindness with which Sofie approaches life. Sofie Weinreich Engell is the woman behind a beautiful IG profile and a mother to two handsome boys (one is in the making).
We asked Sofie if she could tell us more about her and this is what she has kindly shared with us.
Read her romantic story and visit her profile on IG.
"A little bit of me:
When I am not on maternity leave I am running a cafe/center for homeless, I opened Grace, four years ago and i spend most of my time there, being a leader for hundreds of volunteers and homeless takes a lot of time.
But i love it, there is always something to do, someone in need.
When I wasn't working, my husband and I dance salsa/bachata (latin dance).
We'll still do, with J watching from the buggy.
Also we enjoy living in the city, wine and dinners are the best here. I enjoy dancing ballet and yoga (that I don't get to do much yet).
One more confession, I am a cake addict so trying out new cake places with friends is another thing I did a lot. Also I loved baking and cooking all kind of gluten and lactosefree nice food but now we just make something easy.
Before we had lot of time to care for the small things now I dont want to spend all day doing laundry, cleaning and cooking when I can be with my boy.
So i guess everything is a bit more relaxed.
I joined IG loong time ago but I didnt really get it until when James was born. After the birth I startet to look for inspiration on IG, Inspiration for outfits, nurserydecor and so. I quickly learned that there is some kind of comunity in here. James love being my "model" and I love styling and photography, we are both learning this IG have surely given me a new hoppy, I spend a lot of time taking photos, upload, catch up with other mothers I have met here.
I love going trough other profiles and get inspired by there style, home and also there words, I have realized that friendship can be something else than coffee dates. It can be uplifting words when you share something that isnt easy, it can be as simple as tagging someone and let them know you think about them.I never thought i would fall in love again, but I did.
